National Trust for Historic Preservation Conference : Nashville, TN

2009 marks the 3rd year I've been contracted to give audio-visual support to the National Conference on Historic Preservation. The 2007 conference was in St. Paul Minnesota, and was quite picturesque in terms of historic buildings/locations. Definately, the highlight of the trip was getting to see the St. Paul Cathedral.....absolutely stunning. Oh, and stumbling to the diner car @ 3 in the morning too..

Last year ended up taking place in Tulsa, OK. The trip was fun, and I saw a city I had hadn't been to before. It was a success in my eyes... basement lounges, opening/closing parties, beer, and some cool tours of historic areas of the city. Seemed like the entire downtown area was under construction....hhmmm.

This years event in Nashville has been a blur...... This event tends to be a 'burn-the-candle-on-both-ends' type of event. The entire staff of the AV crew and the conference staff all reconvene in the local nightspots, and watering holes..
In short, work all day, party into the night/wake/repeat..

I'm toasted.....i can't blog anymore.

I know, it's very lengthy already.... Pics are from the downtown area, and the interior of the Historic Union Station Wyndham Hotel, my homebase for the week.
